I've recorded and edited an one on one session with permission from Lamont May who recently started with IFS and will be doing EAM training. If you follow this session, you should be able to set up EAM for a US company. It begins with thirty minutes of set up on the site, users, resources, and parts, then it goes into setting up equipment structure and objects for fifteen minutes (including technical characteristics which isn't really introductory training but is frequently asked about but ignored), then closes with setting up task templates and a generic PM Program for a piece of equipment.I did notice I grabbed the wrong calendar on the site set up that needs generated in the database I was training from, so I suggest using the calendar labeled "5" which at this time comes out generated when delivered in RACE.I guarantee you will learn more watching and trying to follow along with this video for just over an hour than you can learn anywhere else on how to get started in EAM in IFS Cl
It looks like it is not allowed to only scrap the parent object without scrapping each of the child first. Getting this Error Message when trying to scrap ….”All child objects in the structure must be scrapped before scrapping the parent”. We are using SM objects and also upgraded to IFS 10. It was possible to scrap this kind of parts in IFS9. Is there any settings we have missed or has this function been changed in IFS10?
I’ve seen both, how to unallocate customer receipt and supplier payment questions here in the community, all answers reference cancelling the matching within the mixed payment to create a parked payment and then using the customer/supplier offset proposal to allocate as you wish. But you can’t cancel the matching if the mixed payment was done in a previous closed period. And you can’t open an old period up as it’s been reported on and audited. Any ideas please?

Hi , from 23R1 ,IFS supports to call Workflow from a Custom Command. While, as I tested ,after the workflow executed (eg, changed some value of the Page)the web page doesn’t get refreshed.User have to manually click the “refresh” button to get new value shown. Is there any way to make web page auto freshed? ※I added a “Force Complete” Custom Command to a execute workflow after executed , data is changed , but page not refreshed.
Hi,This problem is occurring in IFS APPS8.I have made changes to a custom enumeration list logged on as IFSAPP. Published the changes and reloaded the configuration and verified that the changes are then visible in the relevant screen which is Report in Work Order.However, when I log in as another user the list of values that should appear as a drop down list for the relevant column in the Report in Work Order screen is blank. 2 values were added to a list that originally contained 3 values.While logged on as user nguild (instead of IFSAPP) I can actually go to the Custom Enumeration screen (view Custom Objects from the context menu) and view all of the values in the list but I can’t see them in the drop down list for the column in the Report in Work Order screen. The issue I face is not about setting a behavior at the page startup, which can be done easily, but rather how to sort a table based on a specific field (Start Date) with advanced search. [IFS Cloud - 23R1 UPD 6] My Status:I have created the Azure Notification Hub. And the notifications are received to the Notification Hub.Which means the Notifications are sent from IFS Cloud successfully to the notification hub. i.e. Application parameters in IFS Cloud are correctly defined. The Notification Hub metrics shows that the requests have failed. Understandably this is due to not setting up the Google and Apple settings which requires keys from the development team.Thank you,Sanjaya

We created a process flow which updates installed items. This is working well but we noticed that the change is only visible in Mobile after the user reinitializes . If the installed item is changed in Backoffice, the change is visible in Mobile almost immediately. The item.last_change_date field is is updating automatically in both cases. Is there a trick to getting the process flow change to download to Mobile?
We are currently calling IFS REST API CustomerOrderHandling.svc/CustomerOrderSet from our external tool to create customer order.The Customer Order Set POST method allow to creat one single order, is there a way to pass multiple order information in the same call? like an array of orders to create.

I’m trying to make a migration job where the filename should be in the format of: ‘A12 2021 Voucher.csv’So the format is like this: A[MM] [YYYY] Voucher.csvI did try to change the dateformat to ‘MM YYYY’ and use &DATF, but then the dateformat is changed for the lines inside the file as well. This is not something I would like to do. Anyone any suggestions on how to make the filename as described without changing the dateformat inside the file lines?
