One example :A calculated leadtime for a Purchase Part gives 92 days: Supplier Manufacturing Leadtime 42 days, External Transport Leadtime 10 days, Internal Transport Leadtime 40 Days Distribution Calendar 5 working days a week. Purchase Proposals is created by a leadtime on 108 days.Can someone explain the difference. From my perspective it seems that leadtime calculation is not using same calender as order proposal for Internal Transport Leadtime. (IFS version 10).This result in wrong information on Inventory Part as well as Inventory Part Availability Planning.Manual order also verifies leadtime as Order proposals. From application help Internal Transport leadtime shall be using internal Distribution Calendar. But it does not.Do anybody have faced this problem before and/or have a good explanation.
Hi, I’m trying to pass an aditional header key to a http call from IFS9. If I use the below Routing Address, my additional header parameter will show in options in the response, but if I look at what headers IFS is actually sending it is not there. I send the request to an http endpoint that i control and read the headers from there. Here are the headers: {"Accept":"text/html, image/gif, image/jpeg, */*; q=.2","Connection":"close","Content-Length":"43","Content-Type":"text/xml; charset=UTF-8","Host":"***.pythonanywhere.com","User-Agent":"Java1.8.0_60","X-Forwarded-For":"***.***.***.***","X-Real-Ip":"***.***.***.***"} I need to send an aditional key. Just wondering whether IFS has any method of accessing IALs via API? I am thinking for internal uses, it’d be nicer to query the API directly to pull the IAL query data rather than having to run a migration job and then transfer/FTP etc. the file to another location. If its not possible yet, how have others integrated data from IFS into other applications besides using migration jobs to export CSV files etc.? Do Boomi and Mulesoft perform this function or do they only have access to the existing API endpoints?

Once an inventoried material is added to either Serial Object or Functional Object under the Spare Parts tab, how do you then select that material when you are in a Work Order under the Materials tab?
None of the operational reports are working in one of my customer’s user place environments. They are on IFS Cloud 21R2 SU10. On premise customer. They have many other environments but the issue surfaced only in one of the environments. Create PR and Convert to PO for non-part line Create WO on serial object Connect PO created in Step 1 to Work Order so costs can be captured on the Work Order?I know you can peg the Material Req demand to existing PO “manual pegging” but this is for non-inventory part or non part coded items. Attached is a procedure for creating PM Programs using task templates. One thing that tripped me up was having to do a revision on the generated PM Actions if it was necessary to update the Start Value. Other than that and not trying to add Grouped & Merged into the mix, PM Programs function pretty well. I suggest not trying to use the PM Replacement functionality on a PM Program, but let the system generate multiple work tasks when they align.Please let me know if this is helpful as well as if you see any errors or omissions or anything I need to clarify.
Hello,For one of our Remote IFS Cloud 23R2 Customers, we are trying to setup SMB storage. The SMB share was created by the Customer’s IT team and we are trying to configure the parameters in the ifscloud-values.yaml file by following the guide. I had this working once and now it has stopped working. I am not sure what changed between 22R1 and 22R2. Even trying to run manually does not work.Once a purchase order is authorized, we would like the PO to go to released status. We had this working with Automatic Order Processing. Any ideas based on my settings? One thing I did notice after deleting the job and trying to rebuild it, it is asking for something in the coordinator field. We have 60 coordinators, so tried using % and it will not accept it.
Does IFS have a plan/timeframe for adding Find/Replace functionality in IFS Cloud?
We are using IFS10 with update 3.We have created several KanBan circuits in our test environment and these are working as expected. However, we have some that are failing. We get this warning on the background job: Replenishment request failed to create a transport task for the kanban circuit (XXXX). Verify inventory exists to transport.We have checked all the setttings of the KanBan with one that does create the Transport task and they are identical. We have checked the location and the material in stock they are all available. I have tried manually to move the parts to and from the locations by manually creating transport tasks and executing them without any problems or errors.What can be the cause of the missing transport task?

Hi,I created the following custom menu in TECH CMB environment, but I was unable to do the proper transfer and destination window ended up with empty results. Even though the ‘Work Task Window’ shows the ‘test menu’ when RMB, the proper transfer is not happening. Task SEQ - 162663MCH_CODE = 6600-1In database Jt_Task_Utility_API.Get_Actual_Object_Id(task_seq) returns 6600-1 correctly. My question is, Have I done something wrong when creating the ‘Source Key Name’?Even the method ‘Jt_Task_Utility_API.Get_Actual_Object_Id’ is not getting called here

Hi All, I have requirement from customer where they would like to have such option in IFS which allows multiple users to edit the same document at same time.As far as I am aware in IFS it is not possible to access the document by other users until it is been checked back in by the user who checkout to edit the document.So, do we have any such functionality in IFS Cloud?? or Any work around solution to achieve this requirement.You help and suggestions are highly appreciated. Hi,We are using App9 and looking for a solution to handle Employee Payments Using ISO20022.As of now we do not use HCM module and the Employee Expense system is separated from IFS.We have requirement to make the employee payments through IFS and using ISO20022. We will be moving IFS Cloud in few years time.What is the best approach handle this in App9? We have some thoughts around this and have identified few options. But, not sure which is best and simple.Register Employees as Suppliers and integrate with Employee Expense system to create a external supplier invoice. Create Employees as External Payment Recipients and generate a Non-Supplier Payment with a integration. Is there a External File Template for loading a Non-Supplier Payment ? Use the HR module and register Employees in IFS. Use Employee Payments. We do not want a heavy setup HR module that make it complicated.ThanksGayan
