Hi @Danny,I suspect this is related to how you’ve set up your posting control. For the cost side of things, you’d want to set up posting type PRJC3 with preposting (control type AC2) for the project code part, but do not post the project using PRJC4. This will post just the debit posting to the project, and will show cost follow-up on the project. This is how you would generally set up the cost posting types, so it also applies to PRJC1 and PRJT1.For the revenue, posting types PRJI1 and PRJI2 are used (which one is dependent on whether it’s taxable or not). The reason for this error is that there is a validation to check that postings are valid, where this validation also includes the period status. I think there has been a slight change in a later version as I can create the corrections in an internal environment, but I still get an error when trying to create the cost voucher, so this still wouldn’t help in your example.A potential alternative option would be to create manual corrections the following month, i.e. duplicate the incorrect transaction, set the quantity to be negative and change the date to a suitable date in the new period. Then duplicate the original transaction again, change the date to the same value as the negative transaction and update other values as required.The net effect of these transactions would be a quantity of zero, so while they are visible to the end user in the time registration (on the ‘wrong’ date) they should not impact the total nu
Hi @MelTanyaS,Yes, that is possible. You cannot edit the cost accounted transactions directly, but you can use the function for creating correction transactions. This will create two new transactions, a ‘Correction’ transaction effectively crediting the original transaction and a ‘Recreated’ transaction that can be updated as required. When this is done, the relevant project activities are updated.When you subsequently cost account the project transactions you get the option to select the voucher date, which could be set to a suitable date in the April period.Hope this helps.Kind regards,Johan

Hi @MelTanyaS,There is a limitation when you use the ‘normal’ control types in that you will not get an activity sequence on the posting, which means these can only be used with Financial Projects (i.e. not where the project origin is ‘Project’).However, on the assumption that you want to track the recovery of the resource usage, there are two special control types, PRJC13 and PRJC15, that could be of use. For PRJT2 you could typically use PRJC15 (Organization Code Pre Posting). This will allow you to post a project based on the organisation unit of the employee that’s stored on the transaction, where you can define a code string including the activity sequence: You could do the same for the OH recovery, alternatively use PRJC13 (Overhead Pre Posting), where you can define a code string per overhead definition: Hope this helps.Kind regards,Johan

Do you have corresponding M218 postings for each line?To check this you can search on the Accounting ID, e.g. 244080 as per the first line in the screen. The values on the M218 posting should mirror M217, so if it doesn’t for some reason you would likely get this type of error.Another option to try to identify the corresponding Rental Transaction is to run an advanced query. To do this open the Rental Transactions screen and open the Search dialog (F3), then click the ‘Advanced’ button at the bottom right corner. Then click the SQL tab and enter “ACCOUNTING_ID ='244080'” in the SQL where expression box and hit Search: This should show you the Rental Transaction and you can then check if you can spot anything wrong with it.Kind regards,Johan
Hi @amith,Reviewing the second screenshot in your attached document, I noticed that the reported job hours appear to have created attendance as expected, but it is still showing a diff for the attendance (as indicated by the ‘Attendance 7.5h’ in red text). This could indicate that the My Time Registration page doesn’t see your schedule info for some reason, or that the generated attendance is perhaps not of type Normal hours.If you report time in My Time Registration and then review the time card, do you see generated Normal hours there as expected, and do these match the scheduled hours?You mentioned that it worked last week. Hi @pratik.b.shah, It was recently found that Delayed Invoicing transactions were incorrectly included on the invoice when using the Project Transactions Review page in the Aurena client. Could this be the issue you are seeing?A correction for that specific issue is included in Update 23 for Apps 10, and as a workaround the filter section can be used to filter out only Invoiceable transactions before invoicing.Kind regards,Johan

Hi @LKACH,A few things to check:Have you set up a Time Registration time base for the employee? This can be done in the Time Registration Employee Time Base screen. Unless you use clocking terminals, ‘Job Hour Controlled’ is typically the option to go for. Does the logged on user have HR Access to the employee? Can you see the employee info in other pages? You may also want to check that the Project option is set to Active in the Time Registration Aware Modules (I suspect this is not related to the issue you are seeing, but still good to verify this).Hope this helps.Kind regards,Johan
Hi @Zuha Samsudeen,You would typically only set up PRJT1 (i.e. the cost posting) with project preposting. The PRJT2 posting is for the internal recovery, typically posted to the cost centre (without project preposting) of the resource reporting the time.This means that if PRJT2 is also set to use project preposting, it will cancel out the cost coming from PRJT1, with the net effect of the project cost showing as zero.Is there a reason for setting up PRJT2 with project preposting? Hi @Shanuka Lashan,If I remember correctly the Organisational Unit (that you have used as Control Type) is set based on the user creating the plan. The M10 posting is used to post a liability to your supplier for delivered goods. In the Core product, the M10 posting type does not support preposting of the project values.What is the reason you wish to use the preposting values in this process? Do you track supplier liability by project?
Hi @Abdessamad,No, not quite. This is for parts that have previously been issued from standard/project inventory with the intention to be consumed when carrying out the project activity.
