Customer Offset with unchanged currencies

Hello. I have prepayments on a customer in a foreign currency. These are posted with different currencies. When all the payments have been made I would like to create a customer offset… however the customer offset uses todays currency rate…That means that values in accounting currency changes…I would either like it to pick the value from the customer analysis, -4925,50 orI would like the possibility to change the currency rate so that it reflects the value in the customer analysis. This might not look like an issue but the customer I have are dealing with prepayments between 50 000-100 000 Euro which means that it creates currency differences that shouldn’t exist. BRDenny

Hello there,I have a question on the multiple company allocation function in IFS Cloud.For example, we have a scenario that which allocation happens between multiple companies and multiple locations (one of the code parts) at the same time. Hi All, Is anyone familiar with the requirements in the subject field in relation to German companies? I am wondering how to make our Apps 9 compliant with these requirements. Third party software is being pushed as a solution but we’d like to avoid this if possible and even customize IFS where possible to build a solution. Cost set 5 Planned Purchase Cost doesn't work

Cost set 5 is not updated from any priselists - please advice if you have any ideas.I am running on IFSAPPS 10 UPD 17, logged on as application owner IFSAPP.The parts I have tried are all purchased many times and there is an inventory quantity.First ScenarioOn Supplier for Purchase Part I have entered against the main supplier a new prise in a future date.Then I run Product Costing > All Levels Part Cost Calculation although my part has only one level.The part does not appear at all in Cost set five, the window Planned Purchase Costs.Second ScenarioI enter a Supplier Agreement with a period that starts in the future.Then I add my part to the Parts table with a price different from the current.Then I set the agreement to Active.Then I run Product Costing > All Levels Part Cost Calculation although my part has only one level.The part does not appear at all in Cost set five, the window Planned Purchase Costs.These processes have been tried several times after checking basic data eve

generation of a background payment file with customer bill of exchange

Before CLOUD , it was possible to set up the path where the file should be genrated into Payment institutes. Since the cloud has arrived we’ve to generate a backgroud payement file by IFSCONNECT.I want it to know how can i do that with the format TXT like for customer bill ox exchange.I’ve tried but the file was generated directly on my computer and i didn’t have the possibility to generate the background payment file.Someone ca help me on that please ! Rev Recognition Invalid Previous Accumulated Value - Discrepancy from GL Balance

ENVIRONMENT: IFS Cloud 22 R2 Service Update 7 AUDIENCE: All RESOLUTION/ANSWER:Adjusting the revenue to be recognised on some of the projects in the previous month, and these adjusted values are not being pulled into the current month’s revenue recognised previously accumulated column as expected. This is leading to a difference in the GL Balance Analysis screen.The user had modified the 'Revenue recognised accumulated' value in the previous procedure. It seems that the user had modified the value more than once, but the application is only registering the initially modified value and not the subsequent modifications to the 'Revenue recognised accumulated' value.The root cause analysis identified that this was a core issue, and the FIX will be available on 21R2 SU15. Manufactured part cost comparison

Hi All, our company is using IFS cloud, we produce vehicle's, and run a fortnightly interim header report to gather the base cost to us to build a car.we then use a quick report within IFS to show the differences between 2 interim headers, and this gives us our variances in costs for manufactured and purchase parts.it tells us the variance then its our job to analyse and work out why the cost has increased / decreasedthis is easy with purchase parts, as you can check the price list, and part costs screens to see if you have had a cost increase / decrease. its not so simple for manufactured parts, as there are so many lower level sub components checking each part would take ages! my question is does anybody know of a report / screen where IFS can tell you which part out of a large list of lower level sub components has changed in price, or if there has been a change in labour time for the part?

Pre Posting on Advance Customer Invoice

Hello We would like to see the project number related to advance invoices when we run GL Balance analysis detail for accounts receivable (ie. IP17) and deferred revenue (ie. IP19) . In the customer order, I populated the Project field in the Pre-Posting. I also set IP17 and IP19 to have a Project code part and Control Type Pre posting. Then created an advanced invoice. When I printed the invoice, I got the error below. Is it possible to push the invoice through without assigning an activity sequence in the pre posting of the order?

Business Reporter Data Mart option

Hi ExpertsI created a Business Report for reporting Project Cost based on a accounting structure. If I set the paremeter for project ID to multi Value and select several project then i takes me more than 15 min If uncheck the box and set to single value then it takes the BR less than 1 min per project. So i end up faster when i select every project one by one. Now i tried it with Data Mart but ended up with the following error message. Neverthless i tought it would be faster now with data mart. now i am not sure if the data mart really took effect since the performance was not better then setting to online My questionhow do I setup the data mart correctly. Selecting Debit/Credit Value in External File Template

Hi all, I’m currently working on uploading bank reconciliation to IFS via External File Template and have run into an issue with selecting selecting the appropriate debit/credit value based on which one isn’t null. I had this working for a few weeks, but stopped working altogether yesterday. I had these two strings set up to read in the debit and credit values Then I had a separate column which would convert to numbers, and pick the appropriate value based on which wasn’t null. When I try to upload via External File Assistant, I don’t receive an error and it’s picking up the values for Transaction Info 3 & 4, but isn’t setting a value in the separate column.

User_ID in New Manual Supplier Invoice - what view/table does it populate?

When creating a New Manual Supplier Invoice, the User Id attribute will auto-populate. Our users would like to see this User ID on the Manual Supplier Invoice page but it is not an available attribute in the Manual Supplier Invoice Group (or any other view that I can find). Does anyone happen to know where it can be found?Second question...If the User ID is not available for a Manual Supplier Invoice, can a custom field be added into the New Manual Supplier Invoice so that the creator of the Invoice (Application User) can be recorded? We would like to know who created a Manual Supplier Invoice.Thank you!

Updating Standard Cost on a Shop Order with status "Started"

Hello Community, Is there a way to update the standard cost on a shop order that has a status of “started” without closing the shop order? Scenario:Open and release shop order The standard cost is wrong so the routings or product structure gets corrected Costs are rolled to update standard cost At this point the “Started” shop order shows the PREVIOUS standard cost If I close the shop order the standard cost updates, but if I reopen the shop order the standard cost goes back again

Editing accounts Description field in Accounts window

When the current translation field is edited in the company attribute translation window for an account, the account description cannot be changed from the accounts window. This behavior can be observed in other windows too: tax codes window, customer invoice types, supplier invoice types.Is it possible somehow to change such descripotions in desired languages? There is a workaround. But it is not effective too in certain instances.Workaround is: If the account description needs to be edited, use the company attribute translation window and change the relevant row with the language code.If more languages are used as the login language, then, add them to the ‘Company attribute translations’ window and edit the current translations of those as well. warehouse removal for stock valuation

1099 NEC 2 per page?

We are using the cloud based version, and running 1099’s to test and noticing the NEC form is only printing two per page, and not 3 like the standard is. Guess I’m wondering when it will be updated to 3 per page or if I’m going to have to do it by hand this year? Approaching a week before postmark due date!

Customer BOE entry : CUSTOMER_REFERENCE not saved in DB

(IFS Cloud 23R1)When registering a Customer BOE, if a reference is keyed in, it is not saved in the DB. The Reference is entered : But the reference is not shown after validation. If we inquire on the view BILL_OF_EXCHANGE2 through a quick report, the field customer_reference is empty.
