Hello,On IFS Cloud - We can retrieve documents stored on FTP path (Stored in pervious versions of IFS). But are not able to add any new document. there is no error while uploading. After we upgraded to IFS10 we are struggling with slowness in our Oracle DB. We haven’t been able to pinpoint the cause of our problems. But very often (5-10 times each week), we see that the CPU goes to 100% and doesn’t let go. Every user in our company are then struggling with slowness when this happens. As an example, saving a time registration can take 3-4 minutes.Today, a restart of the DB server was necessary to get it back to normal. We have used the query below to find CPU consuming operations, and have also checked background jobs and DMBS jobs. Has anyone got SFTP sender to work in Apps9 I have the reader working but if I set up the sender with the same details there appears to be no network traffic at all and just an error message:- Is there something missing from the documentation ? Regards, Alan
Trying to set up the automation and facility to directly e-mail any manual/instant invoice we create. We have an e-mail event set up, but cannot get customer e-mail to pull through, which field should this be entered on to populate? Another way I had tried was setting up e-invoice in supplier card, the IFS Help section advises I can change the address after saving to an internet e-mail address, but I get an error when trying to change/save this?
Hello,For one of our Remote IFS Cloud 23R2 Customers, we are trying to setup SMB storage. The SMB share was created by the Customer’s IT team and we are trying to configure the parameters in the ifscloud-values.yaml file by following the guide. ( https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/23r2/070_remote_deploy/400_installation_options/120_file_storage_for_remote/122_installation_guide/#activating_file_storage_service) The MTinstaller is successful but the ifs-file-storage pod is stuck at Init State. Hello, App10 UPD13 IEEWe want mandatory pre-posting for a Work Task code part. We have set:T57 (Pre Accounting Work Task) -- Code Part “C” -- C58 (Mandatory Pre Posting) -- no DftHowever IFS never “stops” for the pre accounting mandatory entry. When is (should) the requirement be triggered? I’d assume at Task Release; but no - WT goes to Released and transactions are allowed (Issue material, report time, etc.). Is this a possible bug or am I missing something? Thanks
As of now in the Document Folder navigator, we don't have the direct visibility of the documents within the folders.As a part of the new development, it is intended to bring the standard capabilities into the document folder navigator, so that the user will be able to:Visualize documents within the folders directly within a document folder node. Visualize the document details in the Document Folder Navigator page. Drag and drop documents between document folder nodes in a structure.We now have the 3 options in the poll below to display the Document details in the Document Folder Navigator page. Would like to know the preference.
I have been trying a few things with both project and document access. But I have come up against what I think is a conflict between project access and document access. But here are my findings:I created a project under IFSAPP in a test environment. IFSAPP is identified as a document administrator I created another user that was not a document administrator (User 2) I did NOT add USER2 to the project access I created a couple of documents that were attached to an activity on the project as IFSAPP USER2 was NOT able to access the project at all I added USER 2 to the project access with full rights I logged in as USER2 and accessed the project successfully I could see the documents I had attached earlier BUT although I had granted the team to which USER2 belonged full access, USER2 could see that the documents existed BUT could not access them I tried as USER2 to create a document attached to the activity. USER2 could not create a document in a document class for which the user was NOT

I will get this dialog in apps10 update 16, does anyone knows the solution for this, the same works in production with update 11 ? the invoice should be seen in the Instant Authorization window, if i click on okay IFS crashes and closing down the application.The dialog say that the plugin for acrobat reader is missing.

Hello,Every time I open a jpg attachment in apps 10 IEE, I get the “How do you want to open this file?” prompt by Windows, and regardless of how many times I check the “always use this app to open .jpg files” checkbox, I always get this prompt when I open a jpg attachment. I know Windows is storing this app as the default program because Windows never prompts me with this when I open jpgs via other methods like email attachments, locally saved jpgs, network pictures, etc. It’s only occurring when I open a jpg via the IEE app. I can even navigate to the folder where IFS downloads the jpg file and open it successfully from there. I’ve tried resetting the Photos app in Windows and re-confirming the default app choices in app settings. I’ve spoken to other users of our apps 10 IEE setup and they don’t appear to have this same issue. Any thoughts on how to remedy this?Thanks,Evan Edwards

Hi,We are having work instructions as attachments to the PM’s and Work Orders/Tasks. These attachments should be printed together with the Work Order. Is it possible with IFS App 10 standard to print Work Orders with attachments in same operation?

Hi,We have a user that continues to get this error message on basic screens. The person is a system Admin, has maximum rights and permissions in IFS, (head of IT), and has similar permissions to other users that don’t get this message. We are unable to figure out what is causing this. Any help would be appreciated

Getting below error User IFSADMIN is not allowed access. Most likely causes: * User not set as Active. * User is not granted connect privileges. Contact your system administrator if this condition persists.Authentication method is used as database. FND_ENDUSER is given via FND_ADMIN user but not specifically. Can someone assists to trouble shoot this issue
