I want to create a workflow wherefor my input I want to first run a query to assemble all my data andthen I want to use that data to execute an update an entity. I was looking at the workflow API READ calls but I could not manage to get it working to fetch data for example from a quick report? (Not sure which entityset to use?) Is there a way to feed data into a workflow action using a query. Thing is that for a lot of actions you want to first assemble the data (like you do with cursors in PL/SQL) and then you execute the action on it using an API Call. Is there any option/alternative for this in workflows?A quick report? An IAL source? (Not sure if his is creating a projection automatically? I noticed the API call for the quick report projection looks like this 09:50:07 INFO - REQUEST method "GET"09:50:07 INFO - REQUEST uri "https://xxx-cfg.ifs.cloud/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/QuickReports.svc/QuickReport_614811()?$skip=0&$top=25&odata-debug=json" @Tharu / @Buddhi G
We have following problem with a workflow which does not trigger from a mobile app.We created an event on the ReceiptInfo table (on change of rowstate) If we do a receipt in Aurena / Wadaco in the browser The event triggers The workflow triggers. When we use for example the SCANIT app to do a receiptWe see the event triggers But the workflow does not trigger? We have set the workflow as async so wondering how we can debug it and how the workflows work together with the mobile apps? Strange thing is that the custom_event nicely triggers, but not the workflow. @Tharu / @Buddhi Gunasekara / @kamnlk
I was looking how I could attach picking lists printed onto a shipment. I could only think about two options Use report archive and try to find the picking listIn report archive set the validity a bit longer (they only need 10 days) Try to find the shipment based on the notes (which is not so easy) Report rule and attach a shipmentSo secondly I was thinking of using a report rule and attach a shipmentbut I cannot see an attachment screen on shipment so I was not sure how to enable this. I checked object connections but could not choose shipment as an entity? Its on this screen I would like to attach some documents @Tomas Ruderfelt @Mathias Dahl
In a report rule, in order to format a link into the email message I would need to use a semicolon. It seems this is not possible in the report rule? Any workarounds for this?Report rule setup The messages field needs to include a formatted url to the customer order so I tried thisI even tried to add in stead of ; this [&SELECT CHR(59) AS result FROM dual] but that results in the same problem that the report rule engine is splitting up after the semicolon?Would there be a workaround for this as this is quite a problem if you want to add links from IFS as all the urls in ifs contains semicolons… if you want to filter.I also tried to use Form%3B%24filter= but that also did not work.So is there a way to “escape” semicolons in the report rule?I saw @dsj had a similar thing with semicolon on the attachments but that was not a solution in this case
Given following screen, the purchase requisition id is a text field and when you sort it, it sorts it alphabetical but you actually want it to sort it numerical. Are there any workaround / tips / hints how we could make this sorting more user friendly? Seems in the page designer you cannot change the field type or so.
Based on the available information about the intrastat report for FranceI could find the following from Deloitte. It states that a Regime Code should be provided. Problem is that I cannot find back in IFS this code? (Source: https://www2.deloitte.com/content/dam/Deloitte/be/Documents/tax/Deloitte%20Global%20Tax%20Center%20Europe%20-%20Intrastat%20Guide%2022.pdf)Also in the docs its not stated as mandatory, only thing I can find is the Nature of transaction but that looks different? Does anyone know how to get IFS to provide a correct intrastat report with the Regime code on it?@Martin Falkenau @Linda Loeffler
We would like to enable the quick purchase order registration only for small POs.Eg. up to a value of 100 Euros. Is there a way to find out if a PO was created through the Quick purchase order registration screen? And for example create a small event on this which blocks the purchases > 100 Euro? I cannot find any field which indicates the PO was created through the quick PO registration screen. So only option looks like to add a custom field on the PO header which is only filled in when you create the PO through the Quick purchase order screen? Or is there an event on which we can listen to verify the total value of a PO created through Quick PO registration? Thanks!
We were in progress of debugging why a certain data migration job was not importing data correctly and we got a couple of issues/bugs while debugging. Attribute string fieldWe wanted to use the attribute string to verify if the data was read correctly BUT it looks like the attribute string is cuttoff at a certain size? (1922 chars?)This is quite tricky as we could not debug if the data went in or not? View Temporary table created by job? When creating a job with CREATE_TABLE_FROM_FILE it seems its impossible to view the table created by this job? For example with Quick reports?
