Hi All,I’m trying to find a way to get a table sorted (decr) at the opening of a specific screen (Shop orders).I’ve been through a lot of topic, but cannot find my answer nor a list of syntax possibilities. The issue I face is not about setting a behavior at the page startup, which can be done easily, but rather how to sort a table based on a specific field (Start Date) with advanced search. If someone has an idea about that or documentation about IFS Aurena Advanced search (no SQL), I’m all ears ! Thanks,

Hello, I look forward to delete in batch some old document revisions.I expect to do this by planning a Migration Job that would execute some APIs at a given frequence (1/week). To do this, I need to use the proper API to delete the file from IFS and remove it from the DB.As I have no possibility to view if the file is deleted from the DB or if it’s only the information on Document Revision “File ref” tab that is suppressed, I’d like to know what is the API to use.The information I have is : Delete document file : EDM_FILE_API.Delete_File_ Delete document revision : DOC_ISSUE_API.Remove__==> Are these the right APIs to use ?NB : There is of course some other tables to deal with (e.g. object connexions), but it’s not the main purpose of this post.
Hello,My customer has several business bases where users require to monitor some changes made on some tables. (Design office : keep track DOP structure & routing modifications for example).I know that table tracking can be enabled with Hisoty log configuration screen. However, to see every users’ modifications there is a need to have the Administrator privilege enabled, even if we use quick reports or lobby elements to display the log data.==> What does granting this privilege to a “normal” (Design office, quality manager, Operations manager, ...) end-user mean in terms of system behavior and accesses ?==> I saw in a diferent post that IAL could be used as a workaround : is it still meant to be deprecated ?System : IFS Cloud Aurena 22R2

Hello, We have some issue with our customer regarding Document management deployment.Internal database has restricted storage capacity, which is not viable in the long run. FSS solution has a cost per utilization, which is not a possible solution regarding its costFirst, the customer project is the following :1st go-live with an On-premise installation of IFS Cloud Switch from On-premise to IFS Cloud as a service installation Roll-out 6 months later on a IFS as a service installationIn the long run, document storage solution must be compatible with a Cloud installation. Standard solutions offered by IFS in terms of Document storage does seems not to allow to have client-managed databases in a Cloud installation : e.g. an Azure Storage database owned and managed by the customer, which would be connected to the FSS storage solution. My questions are the following :Can an Azure Storage database owned and managed by the customer be used in a FSS storage solution ? If yes, how is the setup
Hi, My customer is looking for the possibility to have a multilevel configured structure for a Shop order, but where phantom parts are still present. I know Manufacturing structure screen allow the user to get the full multilevel mBOM, yet it is not a configured mBOM.On DOP header, there is also a multilevel mBOM, which is configured, yet phantom parts are not visible (because they’re phantoms). Does someone know if a report that would generate the following bom can be built ? : Multilevel BOM Configured BOM Phantom parts are visibleI think this would be helpful for others too !
Hi, We use Serial tracking for the top level part of multilevel structures for our customer. To do so, we enable At receipt and issue option in Part catalog. When we enable this, Multilevel tracking is by default selected, which is not something we want.==> Is there a way to disable this multilevel option automatic activation ? Regards, Pierre
Hello, My customer wants to migrate to IFS documents revisions, with the file linked to it, for a high volumetry of documents (not possible manually). They have documents (PDF, xlsx, docx, ...) stored in an external server. What they want is to have for each document :a Document Revision created (all in the same Document class) the file which is stored in an external repository accessible in the “File ref.” tab, so that “View document” or “Edit document” features work with it. => Is it possible to recreate this without adding manually the file to IFS, for it to be saved in the destination repository ? Like only migrating the “link” to the file in the appropriate table ?=> If possible, would a SharePoint repository compatible with IFS document management ? Thanks, Pierre
