Hi everyoneWe’re getting a syntax error reported when trying to build an environment in build place. The deployment works fine from IFS Developer and therefore I believe it’s a dependency issue.We added a couple of functions to the ShipmentSourceUtility and call them from the ShipmentLinesHandling projection, in a similar way to that used by the core code: @Overrideentity ShipmentLine { attribute Revision_Text Text { fetch = "Shipment_Source_Utility_API.Get_Line_Rev_Text__(SOURCE_REF1, SOURCE_REF2, SOURCE_REF3, SOURCE_REF4, SOURCE_REF_TYPE_DB)"; label = "Part Revision"; editable = [false]; }} The ShipmentLines client and ShipmentLinesHandling projection fail to compile and working through the _ifs_ant_generatedb.log it looks like the ShipmentSourceUtility is being compiled after the projection.The shpmnt deploy.ini doesn’t appear to force the compilation of ShipmentSourceUtility before the projection even though the core projection code also calls functions from the
Hi everyoneWe’ve implemented a new custom projection in IFS Developer Studio which includes an attribute for the description for a part main group:fetch = "Eng_Part_Main_Group_API.Get_Description(part_main_group)";Some of the descriptions include special characters such as ampersand &, slashes / etc.When I call the PartMainGroupHandling.svc/EngPartMainGroups REST API from PostMan the descriptions are returned without any problems, including the special characters.When I call the REST API for our new projection, I get<ERROR>{"error":{"code":"ODP_SERIALIZATION_ERROR","message":"Error while serializing contents."}}</ERROR>If I remove the special characters from the descriptions the REST API for the new projection works fine.What do I need to do to get the REST API to serialise the special characters?Any suggestions much appreciated!Marion

HiI’m trying to migrate some European addresses which include accents, cedillas and other special characters, for example Île-de-France, Lérida and straße.I’m using a standalone migration job reading a CSV file (not the Excel add-in). The characters are displayed correctly in the cs file when viewed in Excel.I’ve tried using the WE8ISO8859P1 character set which I’ve previously used successfully for the degree symbol for temperatures, but the addresses don’t display correctly - Ãle-de-France.Is there a character set which will handle all the main European special characters?Many thanks,Marion
We have done quite a number of code customisations without problems but this time we have got an error during the order delivery even though everything worked fine during the environment and sanity builds. I’m following the instructions at https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/22r2/030_administration/030_integration/300_ifs_connect/010_configure_connect/060_transport_connectors/configure_rest_transport_connector There’s no URL parameters at this point, I was just trying to get a simple call working first.I’ve set up and sender and the routing address for the calland also for the PLSQL connectorand set up the response rule But if I do the following call to Plsql_Rest_Sender_API.Call_Rest_EndPoint_Empty_Body I get an error in the application messages which states ‘No valid routing rule found’. What step have I missed in the setup?Many thanks!

Hi everyone!I’m using POSTMAN to upload documents to IFS Cloud 21R2 and have successfully uploaded to the document manager with many thanks to the people who provided the detailed information in this topic: My requirement is to upload to the media library rather than the docman so I’ve also looked at this topic (again, many thanks to the contributors):I’ve used MediaLibraryAttachmentHandling.svc/CreateAndConnectMedia to get the ItemId and then I’ve tried to patch with MediaLibraryAttachmentHandling.svc/MediaLibrarySet(LibraryId='1013') and also MediaItemHandling.svc/MediaItemSet(ItemId=1013). Whatever I try to upload fails with unsupported content type.I tried just providing a png or a jpg file and let POSTMAN set the headers: Following the instructions in the above post I then specifically set the content type, if-match and X-IFS-Content-Disposition I can successfully upload both png and jpg as media files as a user.Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
Hi,We have developed a simple entity with associated projection and client page as part of a Customization (extend on the inside) using IFS Developer Studio. This all works fine but we want to be able to attach media items to these entities.I have added the objectConnections to the entity model and redeployed it but I can't configure the connection itself in the 'Object Connections' as described inhttps://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/22r2/040_tailoring/225_configuration/900_object_connections/#technical_notes The OK button does not appear when I select the entity, the relevant services and the API.Have I missed something which needs doing? I have refreshed the Object Objection Cache. The objectConnections were added to the entity model after the entity had been initially deployed although it was then redeployed, is that why it can't be configured?We're using IFS Cloud 22R2.Many thanks!
HiWe sometimes have a need to adjust handling units when the parts are ready to ‘go out the door’, typically splitting the contents of one handling unit into two. For handling units in stock I can select ‘unattach part’ and can then re-assign that part to a new handling unit. For shipping handling units though, if I select ‘unattach part’ the list of parts available for un-attaching is always blank. Selecting ‘Unattach parts’ shows this:I know we can achieve what we need to by disconnecting the existing handling unit, re-creating two more and assigning the parts, but it would be much quicker if we could just unattach a part from the existing handling unit and then re-assign to the new one.Is there a particular reason why the list of parts to unattach shows as blank for shipment handling units?We are using Cloud 22R2Thanks!
HiWe are using the quick order flow as the way for users to progress orders but when an order has a line which is subject to an export licence the next step is not being shown in the quick order flow. All the orders in the snip above are of the same type for the same customer, but MLM061 and MLM063 both have a controlled part, MLM061 the licence shows as ‘connected’ and for MLM063 the licence shows as ‘matched coverage’.The reservation and create pick list next step for these orders was not shown under the three dots. This means the user has to go to different screens to progress those orders even though they are doing the same process. The user is able to do the reservation and picking without being blocked by any export licence check.Is there a reason why these orders are not being handled in the usual way under quick order flow once they are released? Is there an option we can set to make sure they show up the same way?Any assistance much appreciated. We are using Cloud version
HelloWe plan to use Crystal Report defined operational reports and these are working fine. However, I’m trying to set the default layout for purchase orders based on the country of the order using a Report Rule and the Crystal Report layouts are not appearing. Is there a way to make the Crystal Report layouts available for selection as part of a rule? We’re using 22R1. Thanks in advance
Hi everyoneI’m trying to migrate manual customer invoices using a MIGRATE_SOURCE_DATA migration job and I’m using Man_Cust_Invoice_Item for the lines. I’m getting an error that the DIV_FACTOR is mandatory and requires a value even though it has actually been set. I’ve tried setting it using the default value and via a source column but I get the same error in both cases. I’m using Cloud 21R2. Does anyone have any items on how to resolve this?Thanks!
Hi,I’m developing a Crystal Report for the customer invoice operational report based on CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP. I can’t see the company name anywhere? I can see the contract information and the company address. Hopefully I’m missing something obvious, how do I get the company name for display on the invoice?I’m using Cloud 21R2.Thanks!
