Dear All, Playing around with the IFS MWO Service app for Cloud. One of the features is the ‘New Request Quotation’. When you click it you get a window where you need to enter 4 mandatory fields: Description Customer Service Service Organization Description and customer are no issue. But under ‘Service’ and ‘Service Organization’ my drop down menu’s remain empty. Where do I add information so that these become available? For Service Organization => In IFS app I did find a window called ‘Service Organization’ and I added some default in but this does not seem to go through to the MWO app. Is this the correct window? And for the ‘Service’ field, I don’t have any ideas. :-) Thanks for your help. Best RegardsRoel

Hi all,IFS Cloud/PSOI was wondering what are the configurations/basic data to Schedule automatically with PSO in IFS CLOUD.Are there any committ rules on IFS CLOUD as well? Currently the flow I am running is as follows:1. Creation of Request creation and subsequent task2. Task allocation thanks to PSO3. Dispatch clicking button "assign" to validate/modify PSO scheduling on DC Console4. Dispatch clicking "Transfer to Mobile" to send it to the resource on the mobile 5. The flow continues in the standard way thanks to the MWO Service. Is there any way to automatically validate the scheduling done by the PSO without the Dispatcher clicking Assign on every task (ex: the night before/after every hour)? I was thinking Commit rules or a Job?From my tests, Assign is important to generate the Work Assigment and to allow the "Complete" status on the MWO to update the status from Work Start to Work Done. Am I doing something wrong?
Dear All, I was editting the Description of a Service Catalog item. But the ‘Save’ button did not appear. In order to save I had to click on a different Service Catalog record after which IFS gave a pop-up “You have unsaved items - do you like to save?” Off course I clicked save. So there is a very easy work around for the issue but this remains a bug, correct? I’m using 23R1 SU5. Was this bug already fixed in a late SU? Or does it still exist in later versions? Hello,in IFS Cloud 22R2, we have a property called ‘Editable Function’ in the Page Designer. I believe using this property, we can include conditions/parameters based on which the field will be marked either as Editable or Read-Only. But currently, it doesn’t allow us to add any conditions. Is there a specific scenario when we can use this property? Also, do we have any supporting documents or reference fields with this property enabled? Please let me know. Kind RegardsPriyanka Cecilia
Hi Experts,We would like PSO to display the Resource current location on the map. We can capture the current Lat and Long (GPS) of the resource then I am not sure how to feed this into PSO then under which parameters?Normally we keep/change fixed location details like Resource Start and End location but how we can handle the resource current GPS location data? Select Return in the work task, select the target location, the from location drop-down option will appear, which field in the cloud is this from location? from location Options Where does the data come from? This is a required field，but its no dataNormal returns in the ifs cloud do not have this option（from location）

In PSO, all absences categories are shown with the same colour (e.g. orange when using Color Activities by Status). However, in the cloud end, no breaks have been assigned to this user in terms of resource availability, nor have any task templates been designated.How are these breaks being generated for this user, and what steps can be taken to remove them?
Hello Experts,I've created a new scheduling dataset, but I'm facing an issue where resources are not being displayed in PSO WB. However, the resource is available, and shifts are also defined in audit files. Even when I send a work task with location and resource demand lines, the activities are not displayed in PSO WB, although they can be seen in audits. Could there be something missing in the configuration or setup that's causing this discrepancy? Your insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Hello All, A customer of mine is analyzing the feasibility to switch from using Work Orders (EAM) to Requests / Request Tasks (NextGenServiceMgmt). Since they’re servicing assets that belong to customers, switching to Request Management makes it a lot easier for them to execute the flow.However, they are also using Projects module. Each Work Order they work on they connect to a Project. I didn’t see any option to connect Requests / Request Tasks to a Project. Did I somehow missed finding this functionality or it doesn’t exist yet?@Alexander Heinze you’re my best bet with this question 😁.
Hi All, Since working with APPS10 I have always worked with ‘Work Orders’, ‘Service Contracts’, ‘Work Task Templates’ and ‘Service Quotations’. But currenlty I’m now learning more about the ‘Request Management’ section using ‘Requests’, ‘Request Contracts’, ‘Standard Tasks’/’Service Catalog’ and ‘Request Quotations’. And allthough there are some differences in approach to both, there are also a lot of similarities. So I am beginning to wonder about the reason why both functionalities exist next to each other. So could anybody try to explain a few things for me:What is the biggest functional difference between “Request management” functionality and “Work Order” functionality? What are decisive factors to use on or the other? Would there be any use-cases where a business would use both next to each other? What is on the roadmap for these 2 modules.I have read the ‘About’ pages on the IFS Help but that doesn’t give me much additional info on the different use cases for both scenarios. Fo
Hi Experts, In MWO, move stock when i need to move stock from warehouse to my mobile warehouse VAN by a transport task, When click on add transport task and select the part it always comes the mobile warehouse location and i can not select the main warehouse pick up location, it is not even in LOV. please help me understand what is missing here or else is this the expected behavior? Hi, I generated a WO from a Service Contract and noticed that the Customer is empty. The PM that I used is linked to a Work task Template, and the Work Task Templates DO have the Customer on there. So why do the Work Tasks have the customer, but the Work Order itself is empty. This is rather confusing. Or is there a specific reason for this that I am missing here? Best RegardsRoel

Hi Experts, I have set the and checked following are correct as required in the cloud env. parameter location_on_demand_mode= fine GPS allowed is set to yes in applications in SERVICEENGAPP In “Installed app details”, App GPS enabled is set to YesAnd then from MWO app for the service object I go and click on update map position and set position which gives an message as “object map position updated with retrieved device location”But when I go and check in screen “device location”, there is no relevant record with Lat/long values Could someone please help me on this to understand where it can go wrong? Hi,So I noticed this error when trying to send a dataset load manually from IFS Cloud to PSO: I would have to delete certain Location Region records beforehand to be able to manually send a load successfully. Is there a way to manually send a load successfully without having to delete the Location Region records? Thanks in advance!
