The print agent in IFS8 suddenly stops working with an un-handled exception condition. Exception thrown by handler operation: EJB Exception.I have tried stopping and restarting the Print agent running on a dedicated windows server. I’ve also restarted the batchserver process on the Linux server where the IFS application is running.I’ve tried reinstalling the print agent and even rebooting the server where the print agent is running.The only thing I have found that clears the condition is to restart the IFS application on the Linux server. This causes a major interruption for my users.Any suggestions are welcomed. We have faced a problem with using REST sender with client credential flow and when investigating it was found that the problem is with the token fetching request.IFS is sending client id and secret in two places, As basic authentication in the header and the url encoded request body.Seems sending the client secret in the body is faulty.Is this a bug or is there any workaround to not to include the client secret in the token payload.Issue was found in IFS Cloud 22R2 but we observed same problem in Apps10 UPD 16 as well

This means that, if in a variable there is a single quote, the Action fails.For example an Event that is fired when the master part is modified and it requires the description. DECLARE description_ VARCHAR2(32000) := '&NEW:DESCRIPTION'; ...BEGIN ... If the description is something like “This is the ‘description’”, the Action fails with an SQL sintax error.Is it possible to prevent such error ?

When creating a new Quick Report ( in IFS Cloud ), I enter comment lines in the “Comments” dialog. I space the comments to make them readable. I want these Comments to be viewed by the user when the users executes the Quick Report. But, when the user executes the Quick Report, the Comments ( called “Notes” when executing the report ) appear as one long text string. The spacing I used when entering the text is gone. When we check the IFS Cloud 23R2 tech docs it says non-multitenant databases are not supported.There is a customer who is planning to upgrade from IFS apps 9 to IFS Cloud 23R2 and wish to use a single instance database instead of a multitenant.Would there be any issues (such as core upgrade issues and etc) with the support from IFS if they go with a single instance database? HiWe would like to provide Customer Invoice .pdf’s to an external Customer facing application using standard IFS API’s. I would view the invoice .pdf in Aurena via report archive using a result key. Has anybody successfully integrated a similar solution?We are using Apps10 UPD15. We don’t have Boomi. Here is what we have found so far:Using the log window we have found the Report Archive projection and enabled compatibility. We have then viewed an invoice .pdf and can see it makes an API call and gets an ID related to the Result Key. From there it seems to construct a URL and opens the .pdf in a new browser tab. Here is an example URL generated:https://IFStestSystem:58080/int/ifsapplications/projection/v1/ReportArchive.svc/ArchiveDocumentSet(ResultKey=2739813,Id='da20f8df-9bea-496f-9866-6db9381f65b8')/PdfWhile this works I can see a couple of issues with this approach:It requires authentication to the Aurena client and once the user has access to the pdf if they knew how they could past

Hi, We are keeping this to YES so currently rewriting all of our Quick Report in UPD20.For most we can do by Concating (||) the variable with a ‘%’ to have the parameter as a wildcard.The issue is if we have any variable, wildcard or not, in the group statement. The error NOT A GROUP BY EXPRESSION is given.Has anyone experienced this / rewritten sucessfully?
We have created an IFS cloud cluster on remoter deployment with 3 nodes and a Load Balancer, but I am not able to open the landing page with the local hostname, How can I verify if my application is working fine? and all pods are in running statusI am getting an error “default backend - 404”

One of the customers had a delivery failure (PROD) due to a DB connection issue. There weren't any issues in non-prod delivery installation. The error shows (!!!Error, no database connection exists). The customer is asking whether there are any corrective actions that could be taken in order to avoid the same error in the future for the same environment followingly other environments as well and also asking the reason for this connection timeout.

Hi there,I was just wondering what the purpose is of the procedure Application_Search_Sys.Sync_Index__.We have 70 scheduled tasks set up to run this procedure every 30 minutes over various search domains. Three of these are failing each time - DesignObject, PurchaseOrder and CustomerOrder - but we don’t appear to have any users complain.So my questions are:Are these 70 tasks part of the IFS standard set up?Do they need to run and what benefit do they have?If they do need to run do they need to be so frequent? Hello, After the upgrade to 23R1 SU4 I have noticed a strange error when I tried to upload a new logo in Report Images.The .gif file is 35 kb in size, so it’s not too big. Now after that the system won’t even load the data in the screen. It will always show this error message.Also when I debug this, I don’t get any API call in error. https://***-uat.ifs.cloud/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/ReportImagesHandling.svc/ReportLogoSet?→ I get info on 2 logos and then nothing.Any ideas if this is a bug in 23R1?

Dear Community,We had to update the IFS application with a new database connection details.So we deleted the instance using installer and the created a new instance.After creating the new instance i just noticed that the inventory.xml file doesn’t contain record of middleware mws and http oracle homes.I think I need to execute below scripts to attach Oracle Homes.\\<IFS_HOME>\mw_home\mws\oui\bin\attachHome.cmd\\<IFS_HOME>\mw_home\http\oui\bin\attachHome.cmd Would it be possible to know whether it is normal to not to create those records in inventory.xml when creating a new instance from installer.Do we need to run the scripts to create those missing lines of the inventory.xml after each new instance creation.We would highly appreciate your comments on this.Thank you in Advance.
Hello everyone,I created a Toggle Button within an entity called “ManufPartAttribute” and another Toggle Button in another entity called “ShopOrd”. So now I want both to be in sync. In other words, when the first Toggle Button is active the second one moved to active status also and visa versa. We use IFS Cloud.Is there any way to do this?Regards,
