Hi, Please make sure you have run the Cleanup of Inventory job to remove the zero records in Inventory Part in Stock before trying to delete the locations. Deletion of Inventory Locations has been allowed even when there are Transport Tasks in Executed status. Refer bug ID 153897. Hi @Upasari Is this bug available from App10 onwards? Update on this case: No matter what work address you enter, the new employee captures one of the addresses set for the company. That’s the problem. Work Mobile / Email is captured fine though. I think I’d raise case for IFS Support.
@Dharshankumaar Mahendran oh ok. So you must have observed it in the App9 LKP (RnD) enviornment. The challenge for us is that we cannot raise a ticket for IFS since the App9 support phase has ended. Thanks anyways for your assiatnce in this question!

We managed to figure it out. Posting here for the closure of the thread. For instance, to enable the work mobile field, checking that field only isn’t enough. Need to check the Frame field ‘Phones’ as well. I had missed this setting earlier.

Thanks for the detailed clarifications Dharshan, my IFS HR colleague is not available hence trying to work on not so familiar area to me. One last question - however I enable fields like ‘work mobile’ in the configuration assistant and save the configurations (trying reloading configurations too) those newly added fields are not shown. DO you know why?
Hi @Asela Munasinghe The details are fetched to the employee file based on the details saved in the Person window for that employee. If no person address is connected then the details will be fetched from employee file address tab if there are no details on the address tab the company address will be fetched Remember if the address and mobile details are updated in person window it automatically adds the record to employee file address tab Hi DharshanI am only referring to employee creation through ‘New Employee’ in IFS where there’s no existing Person ID. [New Person ID is also assigned during this new employee creation] and I have double checked if the address is being fetched from the Company address. It is not! Thanks,Asela

So you mean to say that there’s no replacement app in IFS cloud, rather we’d have to rely on IFS itself for the same features right?2. Yes, we plan to use both Scan-It and MWO. I learn that in the cloud Scan It and WaDaCo are built together right? Do you have any advise for us to proactively plan for using / testing the ‘new’ scan it app? Also one more question - now that we have the confirmation from IFS that windows devices are compatible with the Scan it app, can you give an insight into how we should plan testing the same? Sure @Rukmal Fernando thanks. Via the support case CS0207767 @Mohamed Shajith confirmed the info I was looking for. Here’s what he summerized. With that info, I think I have the answer regarding the 4 mobile apps I was looking for. The 5th App, TimeTracker that we use, seems to be a non IFS App.
Thanks @Mathias Dahl I was just speaking to my colleague and he only claified what excatly he wanted, sorry - this is the real requeirement:In one Doc Class, we have quite a lot of Docs, approximately 3 TB. So his plan is to create a new Document Repocitory and move those docs into it without changing the Doc Class (or maybe after creating a new class - whatever is easier) However, he plans to do it for only a part of all those docs in the original class. So the real requirement is changing the repocitory only for the docs created (or checked in) after a perticular date in that class. Do you think that’s possible? Do you recommend we create a case for IFS Support to discuss the complete requirement? Thanks alot Matthias

Hi The links works fine for me and we do have a broken link test to see if this is working. I need to check up those pages as they might just be accesible if you are an IFS employee or should be moved so they are publically shown. Good catch as it was not covered by our tools and it works fine for me. I am not sure who is dealing with reporting and what devices can or cannot be used. Hi @Tea Man Dan There is no windows mobile Scan It app for Cloud. The last IFS Applications version that had a windows mobile app was Apps10, it was removed for IFS Cloud since the platform is old and there is no Microsoft support for windows mobile anymore and not from our Mobile FW team either. So we have no support or any App for Windows Mobile in IFS Cloud. So for Cloud there is only “Aurena” version of the app for Android, iOS and Windows (not windows mobile). Thanks for the clarification regarding the Scan It app. I am guessing it will be the same for the mWorkOrder App? Right now we have the following devices. Can you please confirm that the above devices have to be replaced before our IFS9 to 23R1 upgrade? Other App we use is the TimeTracker and the rest of the platforms we use are Andriod-Phone, Android and iOS-Tablet. Can you also kindly confirm that those will work fine in the Cloud? Thanks,Asela
