My question is specific to the duration field on the task and whether I should be seeing that, combined with the MTCE Org’s rate as a planned cost on the Work Order or Project. If I’m on the wrong track, how does the upfront planned cost for a WO show up BEFORE a resource is assigned?When planning the WO from the project, many times I only know how many hours I’m asking for and then it is up to the Services team at some later time to plan the work order and that would entail assigning resources.Patrick
I’m seeing that as I work in 23R2. It is not good at all. Deleting a dependency also takes an unacceptably long time. It appears that the time is being spent to update the Gantt with the dependency arrows with every move. RnD, where are you on this?

So, when I get a notification that I need to sign a document, Adobe will open. At least that’s what the video shows. Does that mean that ANY user to whom I send the request for signaturewill be able to sign or do they need to have something setup on the Adobe App on their machine for this purpose? That’s the one I was looking for. I challenge the logic of renaming that to Projects - Resource Management. It has very little to do with Resource Management and everything to do with Project Management. It is not very logical that’s for sure.Do you have responsibility in this area? I setup and example with >240 records and don’t have a problem. We’ll have to chalk it up to “one of those things” and wait to see if it happens again. Patrick
I also did the same thing in a Db that has fewer records. The example where I’m getting the problem has 240 records. I’ll try to setup an example with hundreds of records and see what I get.

Yes, that’s the one I’m referring to. It is out of date and really should be kept up to date for each release, particularly when things are changed for the user like the bookmark and search functions.

Hello Mathias,I selected to Imbed the Details page. I’m guessing somewhat as to what imbedding the Details page would look like. Ideally, I think I’d like to be able to select a document and then have its details available on a page (a new tab?). I’m interested in speed and the first option appears that it will be a little slower and present some unusual functionality. The 3rd option would end up being another screen to deal with, another thing to train on, and another thing to explain not to mention the extra work in maintaining and programming it. Without examples, that’s what I decided.

Thank you but it is not the actual management of the approval routing itself. The problem is within Sub Contracts and getting the approval template to apply based on the Approvals settings therein.Patrick

I would imagine that if you’re good at custom fields that you could fetch the status of the CO, at least the first one, and place it on the Document Revision itself. Multiple CO Action statuses or handling the situation if you’ve got multiple COs may not be possible but it might get you closer.
