IFSAPP Owner For Cloud (Can this be Custom in IFS Cloud)?

We are upgrading to cloud and we read a community post that hinted that IFS was making customer change their app owner names from a custom name defined in the interface to IFSAPP. Is this true? If not is this “recommended”? Does IFS support have a standard document that would guide us in the right direction in making a decision?Our technical resource said that when he was running the pre-scripts that he was able to modify them to account for our custom app owner name. If it helps we are going to be a remote installation (on-prem).

Document Revisions - Operation in Progress

Hi, The document revision with a file status “Object in Progress” cannot view the attached documents. Is there a way to change the file status of a document revision from “object in Progress” to “Check In”? I tried to detached the errored file and re-attached the same file and it generates new document number, However the document no. with file status “object in progress” is still appearing in the document revision. Thank you in advance :)

Moving of a serial objects between sites/companies while maintaining same object ID/serial No.

Hi all,We have a Client with IFS App10 implemented for a single Site that uses Rental Contracts. Now other Sites are being created for the same Company and there is a need to distribute the Serial Objects to the new Sites.The Core Application is incapable of handling moving of a serial objects between sites/companies while maintaining same object ID/serial No. However, this is a customer request that we must fulfill.Changing the site may affect functional flows and analysis data such as financial transactions, material transactions, PM actions, WO and Historical WO.There are some limitations to overcome when delivering a solution for this issue such as, Since the site is a crucial part of the key for an object and its ownership, changing it might loss the tracking information of a serial object.I would like to know if anyone has already created a solution through Events or even Customization and can share this solution because the Client needs an urgent solution and a customization req

Accessing a Custom Enumeration using expression

Hi, When creating custom attributes, for inbuilt enumerations, I can use:enumeration_name_Api.decode(‘db_value’); But when I create a custom enumeration and try to use the same expression, it gives me errors.Any idea on how to access a custom enumeration using a statement?Error:CUSTOM_ENUMERATION_API"."DECODE": invalid identifier Please help

Custom tab not visible when accessed from custom menu

HI, I have created a custom tab ‘Register Arrivals’ in Purchase Order window.I have also created a custom menu Purchase Order in ‘External Supplier Invoices' window. Scenario 1: If I access directly Purchase Order window ==> Custom Tab ‘Register Arrival’ is visible.Scenario 2 : When I open ‘External Supplier Invoices' window/ RMB ‘Purchase Order’ ==> Custom Tab ‘Register Arrival’ not appearing in Purchase Order window. I noticed that Register Arrival tab will be visible again in Scenario 2 if I remove the param VERSION=SINGLE_COMPANY from the URL . Any thoughts would be much appreciated.Thanks

Plan multiple visit for work task

Hi Experts,I have few question about long running jobs and how those to be planned in to several Visits. Please see example below.I have created a task with duration 12 hours where I need allow multiple visit with the Option enabled. First I tried direct assignment in Dispatch Console, there I could not see this Allow Multiple Visit is enabled though it is enabled in the task?? Then I cancelled it and tried drag and drop the Job to one of my Resource and this is how I see it.You can see it is evreywhere even outside the shift as the duration is 12 hrs. Qustion 1.How we can devide this for several visits at this point may be 4 hrs or 8 hrs slots so we can plan the Travel time as well here as it is required by the real business.It seems task will devide into few visits only it is transferred to the mobile but we need to plan our Travel before that? see how it is when we plan the travel: Still I could devide this into few visits??
